2025 Monkey Knife Fight

Looks like some changes this year...

Hello Monkey Knife Fighters!

Hope you’re getting out on your bikes now that it’s so nice to be out again, because Monkey Knife Fight is waiting for you on Saturday, April 12th.

There are a few exciting changes this year:

  • The Start/Finish will be at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center (aka “The Velodrome” aka “T-Town”) which has ample parking, locker rooms, facilities, and the perfect plaza to refuel with friends after your big ride.
  • With the move to Trexlertown the courses change — but will still have the categorized climbs you’re itching to ride and the hub-spot Aid Station so you can choose wisely if you scratched one of those itches too hard and want to adjust your ride.
  • We now also have a “clean” route called the Oragnutan that avoids all the dirt climbs, though is still a heckuva good 60-mile route.
Here are the routes to choose from:

  • GORILLA is the big beast for 70 miles with 12 unPAved roads and 7 categorized climbs: $99
  • BABOON is no joke for 50 miles with 9 unPAved roads and 6 categorized climbs: $74
  • MARMOSET seems small but feels big for 33 miles with 5 unPAved roads and 3 categorized climbs: $49
  • ORANGUTAN is our new clean route for 60 miles with 0 dirt roads and 5 legit climbs: $59
And in case you forgot about your favorite charity ride you love to hate, check out our short video about it: https://youtu.be/G4GpZzaDV2c

Last year we raised just under $20,000 for Dream Come True and are really hoping to beat that number this year. Which we can only do with you!

If Fair Hill Spring Fever is postponed, I may join for the Gorilla. I had a friend who can't make it offer me his reg. Would be down with joining a group if possible. Although the "how to dress for the weather" thread is doing a pretty solid job of convincing me it's a bad idea!
