That is slightly true. However, I've never decided against a bike because of what color it came in. I used ride that bang-me-in-the-a$$-baby-blue Paragon for Pete's sake!!

I'm really surprised at the negativity around this. Basically this was Trek saying that Gary's 29ers were becoming so much of the mtb market that they had to fold them into the primary brand (rather than compete against themselves). I like the new paint and was never a fan of the crazy bright paint jobs of years past. I've bought a few Fishers DESPITE the old crazy paint. ;)

I don't mind the new Fisher setups or paint jobs whatsoever. although, i do like the 2009-2010 Fisher paint jobs better.
 
Here's the specs pulled from both sites, looks like some give and take between the two models. Thoughts? FYI i have decided to wait for the Cannondale 2011 Flash 29er's. Thats where my money will be spent. I spoke with their reps today and they said September. Every bike shops says mid August though. She said there may be a model or two out that early but definately not the entire line. :mad:
