Yeah...but that alone...do you go with the 2009 (Fox) vs. 2011 (Reba), I don't know about the warrantee.

A friend of mine has the opportunity to get a 2009 or 2011. I was told the 09 has been slightly demoed, but in perfect condition. It appears the only significant difference is the 09 comes with the FOX 80mm and the New 11 comes with the Reba; otherwise they are equipped the same. Is this...

I'd pass on the XTC 2 and save your pennies for the XTC 1. The Fox shock on the XTC 1 is well worth the price difference alone and its performance upgrade relative to the XTC 2 alternative is significant. I demoed both and went with the XTC 1, I love this bike!!

I running Kenda Karmas on my 29er; (2.2/1.9) I like them very much. Traction and roll is very good; they seem to spit out the mud very well too. I think they make 2.2/2.0 for a 26er if you are running tubes, 2.1/1.95 if you are tubeless

I have 7's with stock pads on my Blur LT, they occasionally squeal if they get wet, but it goes away after one or two stops...that's it. Nothing like what I'm experiencing with the 3's.
