    tire pressure????

it really is going to depend on your riding style and the conditions your riding in. i switched to tubeless last year, 26" wheels - kenda nevegals. i weigh 225, and like to ride anywhere between 40 to 45 psi, just enough squish without slowing me down too much. its something you have to play...

    First 29er Build

honestly you could relace your whole front wheel with a new hub if you wanted, but that costs time and money, especially if you cant do it yourself. my suggestion would be to just sell your front wheel and try to find a matching 20mm front wheel. if not, theres nothing really wrong with a...

Which XC race bike should I buy?

    SJ headset problem

have you since tried the carbo specific grease? another thought could be to try a silicone based lube (like liquid wrench). its a cheap possible solution.

    single or double?

for younger kids, i have always found keeping it a little simplier makes the riding experience much better. i say go with 1x9. go with an 11-34 cassette in the rear - that should offer a good range of gear options.

    Cockpit Help PLEASE.

If you have a decent amount of spacers on your steer tube, try dropping your stem/bars a little bit. There is no harm in having spacers above your stem. Find out what works best for you. And YES - go get fitted. I know it might sound weird, but ask the shop to put the bike up on a trainer, or...

    SJ headset problem

I would have to agree with "gtluke". Also, having worked as a bike mechanic for several years, YES use carbon specific grease and make sure you're coating all the surfaces - both the frame and bearings and races. I know it might sound weird, but make sure that its not your cabling...
