    Nassau Trails - partial closure

It looks like the South Branch Watershed has been absorbed by the RHA https://www.raritanheadwaters.org/ Unfortunately, I'd say that someone involved way back had a poor view of MTB and thought it to be a destructive activity. The RHA looks like they do some great preservation work and...

Dry January 2025 (The Sober Thread)

The common theme seems to be it's not a problem until it is. When you and your spouse are children of alcoholics it's always a problem. It hangs over my head like 100 tons of concrete waiting to fall. I seem to keep it in check, mostly. Then you find yourself downing a Dean Martin-sized...

30 lbs is light for a dual crown rig. I have a 2023 Trek Fuel EX, full carbon everything that weighs nearly 31 lbs. Cool ride, ahhhh yes the 90's. Like the 80's except with suspension and clipless pedals.

    Colorado - wow!

A similar thing happened in Jim Thorpe years ago (like 20+). The town was really pushing the MTB scene and had some decently developed trail plans. But the hunters began to take exception and really put the kibosh on any further development. I don't think many people go to JT much as a bike...

    Wild Cat Wednesday!

My wife suggested the same. But... Northwestern wolf × coyote hybrid experiment Escapes lab, breeds profusely, and wipes out the human race. LOL
