So I'm going to pick up these fronts and rears, I'm worried they might be to narrow can I get some feedback. biggest I'll go is 2.5 most likely going 2.3s

If your going to be running between 2.3 and 2.5 I would say your fine with a 27 or 29. Are these gonna be your 29 wheelset I assume and your getting bobs for 27.5+? Might as well order the ratchet upgrade as well now

Passing on Bob's I can't swing the cash right now since I have two daycare deposits out(current and future daycare). If their still around in September I'll move on them but doubt it. It wouldn't be fair to ask him to hold them for me.

Not so fast sport. All 2.5” that I know of are so call ‘wide trail’ and designed for 30mm internal width or more, a thinner rim would make them perform worse and thus waste the extra $$$ gone into them. Why do you think those wheels are on sale? That said I think that a good 2.3” regular tire would be plenty, just pointing out a few info taken straight from the manufacturer sites.
