9am canal lot at 6mr now, post up if you want to join in. What day is today?

6MR was love supreme today. Even managed to crash twice today.
The Pivot handles so different than the other bikes. It is very sensitive to course corrections so I found myself off course in the twisty sections and was running hot on sweeping turns. The first OTB was early, as an over correction brought me wide and the front wheel caught an off trail log then landed on my chest. That's going to leave a bruise... Second fall was at the first boardwalk, right sweeping turn and by the time I saw it, wasn't able to stop the rear from washing but was lucky that I was able to unclip for a semi graceful thud. After reading Tim's thoughts on switching out his eggbeaters, I put on a cheapo set of 520s for my attempted return to clipless. A few tip overs and some one foot unclips, so its going to take time to get back there.

Saturday- Nassau or 6MR (retro ride?)
Sunday- long run
Monday- Stephens or Deer Park
