No Afternoon Project Call

Got my new Mule all switched over and running (the date code on the old Mule's bladder was 05, no problems.) Very nice, more spots for "stuff".

Started out thinking I could get the 2 park bonus but 6MR wasn't up to it. Stopped for a Trader Joe's Strawberry Cereal Bar in Colonial Park and blasted the road back.

a random day turned into a great group ride.

imho dry. I've been riding this place for 15 years on GPS. Prolly ride here more often than anywhere even though i live more than 30 mins away. pretty fast and dry. I had several PRs on this ride and I'm fat as shit and out of shape. Mud did not speed me up.

im not sure, i dont make the rules, i just let the czar do as he pleases, this version of the competition is a whole lotta extra work to post up every day . . . .

riding in 30 degrees and rain in a summer kit sounds like perfect training for an insane ride across the alaskan tundra. yay BIYF!

no pics...but the temp did go from 30 degrees on the first leg of the commute (home to metropark) to 51 by the third leg (office to WTC) and down to 43 for the last leg (metropark to home).

these days are the worst for commuting...going through so many clothes

ride 1 - 34 degrees
ride 2 - 39 degrees (also dropped a glove at the start and had to double back to get it)
ride 3 - 57 degrees (my normal citibike location at 47th and park was listed as inactive, so i ended up with a slightly shorter ride)
ride 4 - 53 degrees
