made a pit stop along the HHGreenway right next to the Blade heliport to drop a layer. this little patio-like thing is a great rain shelter!

i was just thinking, after doing my last few recaps, how crazy these temps have been so far this month. it prompted me to put this quick table together of the daily high and low riding temps (thanks to the klimat.app on strava) each day so far in feb.

Strava northeast passage

Weekly mountain bike ride with Bob aka Florida @thegock (thanks @stb222). We found the way north from the high school to mabry carlton preserve on the west side of the Myakkahachee river (really a creek) before, this time we tried the east side passage. Still wet areas so had to ride thru some muck - I went through one little creek that turned out to a have a 3 ft hole in the middle - the water is so stained with tannins you can't tell how deep water is. Anywho, we found the other side of that group of swings over the water

We stopped at a lookout in the Myakkahachee park to get rid of all the hitchhikers all over our clothes

Then on the way back, gator sightings. There's two in this pic, big male and smaller female in the back

im not sure, i dont make the rules, i just let the czar do as he pleases, this version of the competition is a whole lotta extra work to post up every day . . . .
