Wasn't he the one that insisted fitz come back? put the jets 2 years behind, and we still don't know if Geno can play.
Eli is starting to look like sanchez, with the desperation plays cause the defense can't/won't stop anyone - gee, i have to put up 35 to have a chance!

anyway, Kelce puts up 25pts agains NYG next week. No they aren't going to have a bounce back week after getting whacked.

I mean Eli might be getting old and ya he's not exactly Deshawn Watson moving around....but go ask the Jags how much they would absolutely love to have him over bubby bortles right now. How many years had Reese had now to find a running back after Jacobs/Ward/Bradshaw left? I mean RB's are a dime a dozen and they have Darkwa....Christ, the Packers took their wide receiver and made him play RB and hes better. Reese shouldnt be allowed to shop for his own clothes.

yes.

one of the telling lines from the courts was why is the NFL so hot to suspend him now, when it wasn't a priority for the first game of the season.

the injunction/or-lack-of is put in place to see which party is damaged more if the other wins

how is he/team going to get the games back if they find that the nfl shouldn't suspend him on suspicion of abuse. (zeke wins in court)
i think the legal stuff is actually about the arbiter, and due process in arbitration - face the accuser.

So this forces the NFL to release what they know - which then becomes public record, and Zeke gets to spend some time in the spotlight which is the kind of publicity the nfl doesn't need

the NFL must act like they want to suspend him, but they don't really. It would help them to have the courts decide in Zeke's favor,
which means the NFL did everything they could do to punish him for "something" - which will all turn out to be hearsay - letting everyone off the hook.

there is going to be a miracle find, or confession, or something. too much $$$ at stake.
or i'm just concocting all of this to entertain myself until pitchers and catchers report.

i think he could be back week 14, after that December 1 hearing... the full suspension has been delayed for 9 weeks already, i could see he gets the remaining two weeks in the beginning of the season next year.
 
Well anything that is in court at this point is only about the NFL's right to suspend him for personal conduct.......0 to do with whether or not he beat her up or not. He has no grounds to argue that...There was an NFL investigation, they determined there was enough evidence to suspend him 6 games, done...Then it went to the appeal and the 6 games were again upheld....Then Zeke went to the courts and said "hey I dont like the contract I signed that says the NFL can suspend me.....can you get me out of it?" Same thing Brady tried and failed at. He's not getting out of this suspension...it would basically void the NFL's agreement with the players association...Which was...you can have more money, in trade...when your members fuck up and do things that make us look bad...we can suspend them. They will fight that to the death.

Agree that they dont want to suspend him as him being on the field improves their product. But, after Ray Rice...they had to at least pretend they are serious about domestic violence.

Additionally, if the idiot just took the suspension at week 1 and got it over with, they would have had him back already for the meat of the schedule.
