So even though she failed miserably at those jobs, pulled a Mr. Blutarsky and achieved 0.0, she's qualified since she was basically just a warm body in those positions? This is exactly the same rationale that they use in corporate politics, promote someone to their highest level of incompetence. I'm sure this will all work much better though.

OK, make the case FOR Trump. From what I can tell, he is a vulgar, thin skinned serial liar, misogynist, and racist, with little command of the issues. His so called business acumen is more a product of gaming the system, as opposed to producing things of value. But tell me why I'm wrong and this guy should be president.

I don't know how much factoring the pollsters are doing for the fact that most people are outright embarrassed that they are voting for Trump. And who wouldn't be. But when that curtain closes and they are all alone...
Totally anecdotal, but I know quite a few people that support trump. They bought the hats, eat up everything he says, and are all in. They don't plan on voting "because their votes don't matter". As the kicker, many of them live in PA.

The turnout of both candidates' key demographics will be interesting to see.

HRC use of a private server to avoid FOIA, the private meeting with the AG by Bill, the resulting FBI complete lack of integrity in everything surrounding the case, combined with the lack of separation between the Clinton foundation and the state dept. It is clear that the Clinton are nothing but power hungry criminals that will stop at nothing to keep power even if it is at the expense of the country. They represent everything that is wrong with Washington. They do not believe the laws apply to them

I don't disagree with you on most of this. Which is why Clinton would be beaten by any of the recent GOP defeated nominees (ie Dole, McCain, Romney). But, instead, we have the dumpster fire named Trump.

Johnson is getting my vote just for the fact that he is an ultra endurance junkie. He did the Leadville 100 mile running race in under 30 hours which is pretty damn impressive for a stoner, and he's also completed the Leadville 100 MTB 6 or 7 times. He's the real deal on a bike.

I have to look into Johnson.

I know I am stating the obvious but there is something VERY VERY wrong with the political process (and maybe the country as a whole) that the two main political parties gave us these two choices: Donald and Hillary.

very sad.

There's the catch. will voter turnout be all time high or low - or just mediocre?

America likes to get all ramped up for elections. Everyone pretends and acts like they are gonna be the first in line to vote. Then we get 52% turnout.

The silent majority just doesn't care.

Yep, its not D vs R, Right vs Left. Its establishment vs outsiders. Tired of how the government acts, stop voting the same people in.

Time for permanent term limits

Yes, lobbying should be illegal as well.

I wonder if career politicians left if both sides would begin to work with each other again and the parties would de-polarize.

Well.... This changes everything!

Great points of views and arguments on both sides.

Nothing is clear cut or even remotely visible

Comes down to ones own moral standing on how they cast their vote.

I think people have already made up their mind and there is not one thing one has done or will say that will change any of the supporters minds.

Again it will come down to who will have more supporters actually going out n Election Day to cast votes.

God bless America. Seriously.

Everyone keeps saying he's racist, but i still can't find any evidence. Calling someone racist is the new "did you fart?"
There's no way out of it without looking dumb and the Democrats have been just slinging the word racist around like nothing.
I'm not buying the one Hillary brought up. That one of trump's father's employees was accused of unfair leasing 45 fucking years ago. Trump should have had a better answer for that.
I mean Hillary said her mentor as a senator was a fucking chapter leader in the klu klux klan.

And if you're allowed to claim he's racist for something his relative or coworker has done, Hillary's husband flat out RAPED several women and she helped him cover it up.
Oh but trump called a girl fat on a tv show so he's the misogynist.

So, when asked to make a case for Trump the answer is just an attack on Clinton.

I don't find "at least he tells the truth" good enough. If Hitler had told everyone he was just going to gas the Jews he'd still be a piece of garbage.

How about some positive quality that would make him fit to be president.

To be fair i wasn't answering the question. I think they are both unfit to be president.

I wish the Republicans had a better candidate. Shit, this was the perfect opportunity for the Independents/Libertarians to slip a strong candidate in. As far as something positive about Trump, I think that he'd have a much better shot cultivating a relationship with Russia, China, and Israel in no small part because they think Obama is weak, and Hillary even weaker. She couldn't do it as Secretary of State, she won't do it as President.

Two big reasons to vote for Trump are:
1) The Economy,
2) Safety / Boarder security and Immigration reform.

1) The Economy.
The deficit is getting to the point where soon it won't be possible to pay back the interest. Spending is out of control and the stock market is a bubble. The economic recovery has been pathetic and GDP is pathetically anemic (like 1.5%). If and when the Fed raises the interest rate in December, many pundits forecast that the stock market will free fall.

Clinton wants to increase taxes on the Middle class and corporations and small businesses. Clinton also said she is going to put the coal miners out of work. Trump proposes to decrease corporate taxes. As the employees essentially pay the corporate taxes, a corporate tax decrease means higher salaries for employees. Also, companies would hire more employees which would pay taxes into what would be a larger tax base. Also, lowering income taxes means more money in everyone's pocket to spend on the economy. Don't forget all the taxes we are all paying for obamacare.

Furthermore, lowering the corporate tax rate from 40% to 15%,would allow the USA to be more competitive with other countries. Thus less US corporations would look to move their headquarters overseas, where some $2.5-3 trillion is banked. Also, US companies would be able to bring (repatriate) the $2.5-3 trillion currently overseas into the US at a significantly lower tax rate, which would allow these companies to build and expand here in the US, i.e more jobs.

2) Safety i.e Boarder security and Immigration reform.
Clinton wants to bring in some 550,000 Syrian refugees. Terrorists have infiltrated the refugees in Europe and they are filtering throughout the world. Experts agree that there is no way to vet the refugees because of lack of govt. records/databases in their countries. Also, why don't they move Syrian Christians getting slaughtered to the front of the line?
Of the 550,000 Syrians Clinton wants to bring in to the USA, what if 1% i.e 5,500 are terrorists? What if 0.1% i.e 550? That would mean that 99.9% are not terrorists and 0.1% are or could be. Only 19 terrorists pulled off the 9/11/2001 attacks.

Terrorists said that they will infiltrate the USA next thru the refugee population. Obviously they can/will do it thru the porous southern boarder too.

Clinton seems to think that all people of the world have the right to immigrate to the USA and so she wants open boarders.

As easy as it is to dismiss Syrian refugees, their country along with a few other countries are being/have been torn apart by Russia and America fighting proxy wars to see who wins

As far as spending goes it's:

Lower taxes in general
Decreased borrowing
Military presence/border secure
Decent social programs

Pick 2

My .02
I just find it generally depressing no matter how anyone slices it
