I guess relative competence is what is important to me. I am looking at a few decades of retirement in a couple of years and want a President who won't screw that up.
We were at the shore house this summer for a week and evenings were dinner, etc with 28 people. One night there was a discussion of the election with the older, white relatives mostly lined up with T Rump. The 12 kids age 18-28 were in the adjacent open format living room and didn't engage in the discussion. My wife's nephew is married to a woman whose father installs elevators. She said that when Trump built one of his AC hotels, he declared one of his four bankruptcies and her Dad lost his whole year of income. That stopped the discussion.
Declaring bankruptcy and re-trading agreements is not in my quiver of behaviors. It doesn't work when you are President of the United States.
