Halters / JORBA Membership Drive!

We talked about a Jorba banner, or maybe a picture frame on our avatars here at mtbnj.com.
Matching up user names, email addresses, and jorba account is a problem.

perhaps we could self select "member of jorba" - in our profile, enter our member id, and perhaps include an expiration date?
this could be cross checked with the jorba server (or some file on it)

that would help with reminders, and recognize the people who are members.
Totally understand that we won't get 100% for many reasons. That's ok, they are future members.

Seriously, as Ken mentioned in an earlier post that spam filters may be grabbing it. I am currently working on an eblast to catch everyone up on whats been happening and to thank our long time supporters, and welcome new folk. I will post up here to see if everyone got it...it goes through our amember software just like renewal notices. One way to insure you get reminders is to add membership@jorba.org to you contacts and then emails won't be relegated to a spam folder.....hopefully.

Norm, I can't thank you enough for plowing the road as you have....I'm truly grateful.
I think I have 107 membership that have come in during the last 48 hours. Needless to say, I will be drinking many beverages while typing out member cards over the next few weeks. As far as total memberships go, I need to get with Ken as to which report he uses and compare a few things, but we are well over 530 members and they are still trickling in.
 
555 today....it's been a while since I updated...sorry.

Just so you all know, I'm getting your memberships out to you in smaller batches so i don't screw things up. We just ran out of large socks so if your membership involved them, I will hold everything until they arrive......sadly end of January 🙁. The rest of you should be seeing envelopes over the next few weeks. Once again, thank you all for joining! Thanks to @jdog, @Norm, and @KenS for making all this happen!!
