Sourlands Mountain Preserve Conditions

Did the best I could - first pulled some trees on the old trail before new shoes:

Then where the muddy section is, I tried to block off both ends, and raked out where the trail should go. With so many leaves it was hard to tell if I got it right, but it's rideable and out of the mud. Whoever keeps opening this up also removed some of the white markers from the trees:

With a few guys we could move some much bigger trees from around roaring rocks to this section. That might do it for good

I have personally closed off that section of trail at least a dozen times. Someone has made it their personal mission to move all the debris that I move onto the trail and reopen it.

See what you mean Jeff, my log pile is moved already. OK this guy threw down the gauntlet, let's see them move the next pile I build there.

PS did a good Jorba deed today - saw a couple of hikers on that closed section and talked to them about trail maintenance - they hike sourlands, CR and 6mr and want to help out so I gave them one of those Jorba velcro thingies and asked them to join.

I am kicking you hikers off this trail after I give you a speech, so please go join this off road biking association. Thanks!

It's bizarre how much effort this idiot puts into re-opening a muddy section of trail over and over again. I moved a few logs from your pile back in place but doubt they will last long. Thanks for your help.

Do you mind if I build a punji stick pit there?

Great shape today. I ran by the muddy "closed section" and there was just a few logs. When I got back on the bike a little later, all my logs/branches were back on the closed section. Must have been Steve - I saw him heading in that direction at the end of my run. Thanks Steve!

Wetter than I would like but rideable. Most of it is dry. The flats have some wet stuff but if you stick to the armored sections it's alright.

To the dude I saw out today hope you had a good rest of your ride!

I did the same loop today that I did yesterday with @rick81721 this time. Pretty much the same as yesterday but a few more wet spots in guessing from freeze thaw. Still OK to me.
