lets talk about all season tires and snow tires

Pearl

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING
so i need 2 new front tires for my aftermarket wheels that i have, but they are summer tires. i think it is time to invest back into the bald stockers i took off a year or so ago. i was thinking of just grabbing the cheapest all season tire on tire rack, which would yield me $256 shipped to my twork, plus whatever it would cost to mount.

or do i go straight snow tires? This would be $400. $400 sounds like a lot. I have a tire barn up the street, but I haven't called them. not sure they have better deals than the internet.

i wish there was a middle ground, like a fall/winter tire.

EDIT: not trolling luke with thread, serious question

Oh is this the weekly "I will rage against you if you don't do as I do" thread.

Pearl you lose a gold star for the week. Bad Pearl.

I #gottabehonest, but it wasn't until I clicked on Utah's link that I thought we were talking about bicycle tires...

All tires are exactly the same. Just a round piece of rubber. No difference at all.
Wheels go round and round.

:lock:

What you also need to learn is that you don't love my family either as you slide into my car and kill my family because you can afford $8,000 in bicycles but not $200 in car tires.

You should put snows on the shit box FIT's and Cubes and Prius's most of you geek bikers drive because they suck in the snow, and at the very least you and your families run the risk of be being squashed like a paper cup as you slide into those of us driving real vehicles.

I don't drive a fit because I like it. It's the only new car that fits in my budget at the moment.

If I had a choice, I'd drive a fuckin tank.

Fit is good in the snow, never not made it to work last year, try again

plus 1. People blame cars that aren't good in the snow because they can't drive in the snow.

I like my fit but it was the cheapest new car that was the biggest and not a crappy car.
