GULP. No pressure.

I don't look at that because I already put enough pressure on myself 😀

We'll see you guys there!

swapped spots with a MTBNJ guy in the 3/4 a few times. we were both riding Giants. then on the last lap my front tube blew out and i DNF'd. womp womp.

That must have been me, I was the only MTBNJ guy in the B race. The start to the race was a bit brutal going straight into the switchbacks, each turn was a pile of bodies trying to get around and up the hill.

I would recommend going to tubular, but I flatted a tubular on Sunday... meh.

nice, good racing. haha i raced on tubulars last year and flatted at 2 separate races. =(

by this weekend my tubeless wheels should be built. =)

Amen!! You crushed it! Howd you feel out there??

LOL! Thanks for the cheering!!!!

I had a great start behind Michelle Lee...and was in the front up the staircase/climb. That definitely helped.

I do like to climb...but whoa! I think the Staircase was more draining then the steep up. I liked the corners/turns...the gravel section around the garage not so much.

Overall I did enjoy the course - it was a nice change/a new venue for me. I was hoping to do more of the PACX races but too many other conflicts. Maybe next year...

Awesome group of girls to race with - really like the positive energy at the start! I knew Shaina was with me...and then it was quiet...I didn't know what happened to her chain until we finished.

Looks like you had a great race too!!!!!

The SS photos are hysterical.

Men's C Race:

Ok, so I didn’t think there would ever be this much climbing in cross. I was concerned, to say the least, after a few pre-ride laps. I knew it would be really important to race my race otherwise I’d never see the finish.

I started 39th out of 83 starters. So about sixth row. Thankfully, it seemed everyone else was just as concerned about the staircase and kicker hill that the start was really mellow. No real sprint so I was able to hold position into the staircase switchbacks. That’s when people started running through tape, swinging wide, falling, missing shifts. Holy crap, people lost their minds! I managed to avoid the carnage, stayed smooth, and just kept chugging along. I decided to run up the kicker hill. I lost a few spots there but gained a few back on the descent and corners. Some dude overcooked one of the tighter turns so badly that he high sided and slapped the ground hard. Really hard. I barely got around him. I held my own on the back half of the course in the flats, corners, and barriers. Towards the end of the lap, Christy Perkins told me I was in 34th. Holy crap, I actually moved up a bit! Sweet!

Lap 2 I had to recover a bit so I lost a good 4-5 spots on the staircase. Lap 3 and 4 I did my best to maintain and battled with a few guys back and forth. I lost a few spots in the staircase each lap, but not without a fight. I finished 51st. I was hoping to be in the top half of the field, but such is life. I had fun and did better than I thought I would with the hills.

The descent would have been tricky as hell if the place was a mudfest. I'm glad it was dry while I still get the handling of my bike down.

Dont know him or the type of mount your looking for but k-edge makes awesome ones...

Yeah, that is basically what he said, I just ordered one on Amazon.

One aspect in particular, with the regular mount there is this annoying clicking/clattering noise. Ryan said that it doesn't exist with the K-Edge. I also have a bit of a struggle to get the go pro mount affixed to my bars and it also is in an awkward place, the k-edge moves it more forward a bit.
