Been through a few different type tires the last few years but landed on these the last year or so in size 42.
Teravail Cannonball gravel race tire. Directional center tread, L-shaped side knobs for cornering grip. Light & Supple or Durable. Sizes 700c and 650b.

I found out the hard way the "Light and Supple" version of these tires are complete shit since I blew out one of them after one ride, and the other one had some weird bubble/thread damage to it after just a few rides. The slight weight penalty of the Durable version is negligible for me and I have 100's of miles on them (on my 2nd set) with no issues.
for my riding I dont like the gravel tires with the slick center tread like the pathfinders I felt it wasnt enough traction on climbs. These tires have a condensed center knobby section that roll pretty well on pavement and hard pack gravel.
