The winning combo might be a reducer since that vehicle might require an extension for the bike rack to work. 2 birds...

No worries, @JakeP has the choice to go with the reducer brought up by @Matt_ or I can give him my adapter.
I'll give him my reducer. As @Purl mentioned, I literally only use it as a headset bearing race setter on forks (works amazingly well btw!). This will give me an excuse to finally purchase the proper tool 😅

And looking at the installed images, I'm almost certain he'll need the extension to eliminate rack interference with the bumper. The hitches tuck pretty far under the bumper on these models.

...and I'm guessing as proper tool you mean a 2" long 1-1/2 PVC pipe!
