If it wasn’t a male I would think that dog is our Bailey, all the way to the 5 white points. Do you happen to know if that’s a specific breed or just a mix? Great pics as usual!

They’ve become their own breed at this point, Alaskan Sled Dog. Almost all of them are the same size and shape. I have videos on IG of more.

In our Alaskan Cruise last summer we did a dog sled excursion. They are all gas and super strong. Race season for the dogs requires like 10,000 calories / day / dog.

Got my bike back last night!! First thing this morning I rode it up some stupid hill and pushed into a headwind with no trail. Was trying to take this photo from the other side where there’s supposed to be a cool lake. I didn’t make it that far so we’ll never know.

Not sure how many know already, but I put myself in the hospital last night commuting home. Front tire blew out on the last corner coming down Washington Rock.
Stopped traffic for about 20 minutes. The homeowners where I crashed came out and helped get out of the road.
I initially thought it wasn’t bad but when I couldn’t stand and my leg was clicking around I knew we had to go to RWJ.
Bunch of road rash on my left side where I slid down the hill, cracked my Pelvis clean through this time, which is a lot more painful than it sounds 😂
Also smacked the shit out my wrist, didn’t break but I can’t use it to prop myself up and that kinda sucks.
I was able to get around on a walker with an armrest so they opted to not do surgery. Took me almost 30 minutes to walk from the car to door and then my 2 boys had to carry me up the porch.
Not sure how long I’m out for, this is a pretty bad injury for a cyclist so we need to make sure to do it right.

I think(?) the rim heated up and made the tube burst, because I was on the fix gear.

Dude that totally sucks. 300+ miles in Alaska and you wipe out at home.
At least you’re at a high level of fitness to help with rehab and recovery. Get well soon.
Oof. I thought recovering from last year's broken wrist took too long. Good luck.
