2024 Lawn yard thread

What going into the 1.3 acres? Pump track or half pipe...

We’ll actually lose 1.3 acres. And go from flat to rolling. I can’t sell the half pipe idea, but I can wear in a few tracks for the old Land Rover.

My lawn looks like absolute crap right now. The earlier warm weather allowed some weeds to start growing weeks ago, but the grass is barely just getting started. I did the semi-environmentally responsible thing last year and used pellet fertilizer only with spot liquid individual weed killing as needed. Worked pretty well, but I have to start with the broadcast pellet weed and feed this year. I'd wind up spraying the whole yard anyway.

Yup. Ba gazillion. They won't make past the first couple mowings

Been at our first and only home for almost 13 yrs… same JD 42” used mower off CL. Have never sharpened blades ha. Just oil changes. Used to spend 3/4 hrs on lawn now it’s WOT and 2 hrs. Ride on!

i just did Step 1 last week lol. Some years i get to the other steps, some years i dont.
