Built this thing back around Thanksgiving for one of our Marketing Guys and had to keep my lips shut until today when it officially launched. I'm getting one.

For the intended use, it looks pretty good:

My first thought was also, "can you put a bike rack on it? Sort of like some of the moto racks?"

I wonder how many of the Door Dash/Uber Eats delivery folks will dump their cheap fire hazard ebikes from Amazon bikes for this.

hey all, I still get print copy of Mountain Bike Flyer magazine. (that's why there's no link). Interesting interview with Mike Weir, who was (is) and animal on a bike, and why he only rides e-bikes nowadays. Check it out.

I wonder if it's the bikes themselves that need to be UL certified or just the drive system (battery, charger, motor). If say Shimano certifies their EP8 motor with their charger and battery pack and that combination is used in several different bike brands and models then will all those bikes be certified?

Sorry, I just can’t wrap my head around your rationale. Riding is one of those end result is greater than sum of the parts things. For me the suffering and fitness thing is a key part of it. Remove that and I’m riding my motorcycle.

I think it has been well established that one can suffer and gain fitness on an ebike

None of those city delivery bikes use anything that will pass. They is sketchy.

Won't matter until Specialized gets their bikes UL listed. I'm sure they will.
Damn. The bike I built in that pic was for Andrew and he used stock photos and didn't mention us...Lame.
So the 'journalist' that wrote that piece is actually one of your 'marketing guys'...seems fair!
