The state will provide a HHA if there are any available. So get on a waiting list. OR, you can get someone on your own, but you have to be their "employer", which means setting up an account and registering as an employer and paying insurance, benefits, taxes, and a lot of paperwork. The state will give you some $ into the account to pay someone. Very confusing and not worth itNever heard of this. Don't licensed HHAs have their own insurance, etc? Why would you have to provide?
