Things that make you frown :(

Glioblastoma. My best friend and fishing and hunting buddy from Chicago just got diagnosed with this. And incredibly, his wife has been suffering thru two years of chemo for a rare form of uterine cancer. Unfathomable what they and their kids are going thru.

Riding a non sanctioned trail in Wawayanda for a mile and coming to a sign saying "Private Property Ahead".
This trail comes off another major trail in the park and heads North, but then ends at private property which
is only a 100 x 100 piece of land along a public road. Yes there is a house on it and a driveway. But it stinks to
have to end like this. If I could continue over the 100 ft piece of private property I could continue my ride on
park and public land for many more miles. The land owner is serious though, with many no trespassing and
private property signs. Too bad there isn't a narrow access piece of land to get through, like many other spots
in the park . 😡
didn;t you say this was a "non-sanctioned" trail ?

Tell them to call Cancer Hope Network. https://cancerhopenetwork.org/

it’s really a great volunteer support program. Many times they can match people up who had the same diagnosis and are now in remission. it really can give a positive outlet for people.

good luck to them.

Is that rear axle not even remotely centered in the well or is it a weird angle? That looks ukked
I pushed the rear axle 4” back to stretch the wheelbase. The front went forward 3” and the axles are full widths out of a 1979
K30 pickup. Those tires are 40” tall 18” wide on 15x12 rims vs the stock 30” tires.

My wife met a fellow dog walker on the street where the cub-killer lives and was told about the perp 'poor kids, they lost their parent at a very young age...' and while a do feel for anybody that experiences such a devastating loss at a young age and I can appreciate how it may confuse your moral compass a wee bit, it shouldn't be a free pass to either breaking the law or be cruel with animals. I guess he will claim they were a nuisance, hence the traps...on a side note and speaking of nuisance, their property borders with the park and they always have a bunch of quads parked there...

Having hired nursing help for my partner, discovering that I must register as an employer with the IRS, pay for more insurance, report, manage, blah-blah...
Yeah, I have the same situation, but I didn't go for it. If you accept state aid it's covered by insurance. But it's a long wait to get help. 600 people ahead of me.

Never heard of this. Don't licensed HHAs have their own insurance, etc? Why would you have to provide?
