Easy. Just get the Shimanos. If your feet are still cold, you’re not cut out for winter riding. 🙂Too soon to talk about winter shoes?
the dam 12 speed cassettes are now to big to fit in these....I went back to the old way...little gasoline in a small pail with a parts brush...cleans them right up.Went cheapy

Y’all better be racing Nesh, heard the trail crew has it in real good condition 🤓What’s up next on your race schedule?
little gasoline in a small pail with a match...lights them right up.
I wouldn't say regular, but over time it gets junk built up in it.🔥
Is removing the cassette a regular cleaning item? or are you breaking down most of the bike at this point?
I guess it does stop flying gobs of crap using the brush while it is on the wheel/bike on stand. ???
They’re a little bit more expensive but with $100/$150 you should be able to pick up one that fits a 12 speed cassette. Which means also a few car parts…ah, wrong thread. Sorry, the dam 12 speed cassettes are now to big to fit in these....I went back to the old way...little gasoline in a small pail with a parts brush...cleans them right up.
nah, gasoline cleans better anyway...even at current prices 🙂They’re a little bit more expensive but with $100/$150 you should be able to pick up one that fits a 12 speed cassette. Which means also a few car parts…ah, wrong thread. Sorry,
What do you do with the old gas? (Wife’s Subaru ? lol).nah, gasoline cleans better anyway...even at current prices 🙂
I have this 7 gallon nalgene jug that I use for recycling old oil motor...I just dump it in there with the oil. But ya, im not against mineral sprits, I just usually forget to buy it. Gas, I always have laying around. This is for a cassette tho...if I can fit something in my ultrasonic cleaner (like a chain) I will use that. What do you do with the old gas? (Wife’s Subaru ? lol).
Gas does clean great but it stinks. That’s one good thing about mineral spirits- totally odorless.
