One hat to rule them all. The last one you'll ever buy. I've had it for 4+ years. 4 years of washer and dryer. It's still tip top
Based on this recomendation, I may pick one of these up....
I have a good hat that works well down to zero. however, there were times I wish I had the same hat with a visor and a little better lower ear protection for the rainy / snowy + wind rides..
Scratch that.. I just ordered this for $21

IDK bout this one dollar jobbie, but neck gator FTWI'm fine with a cotton cap up to 0 degrees F. I combine it with one of these and am fine in all NJ temperatures:

The $1 neck gaiter is the best thing since slice bread. I have one on my neck constantly once fall starts.

Rapha peaked hat, currently only $22 with the sale, ending soon
This is the same thickness as their merino hat, which is a favorite of mine. This hat has a very thin windproof on the front panel and the brim is very rigid compared to their other caps and seems to be perfectly positioned to keep rain out of the eyes but not obstruct vision. I really like hats that perfectly form to your head (no bunching or weaird parts that stick out) and this hat does just that.
I also have a serious hard on for this burgundy color.

Was a bit chilly this morning and thought it might be about time to resurrect this thread.
I am thinking I need to start thinking about replacing some of the winter gears I lost.
