What have you done to your bike today?

New handlebar and grips. Raceface flat wide bar. SRAM locking foam contour grips.

Is it just me or are GBs getting a lot popular?
I think they're so cool. And practical.

Funny, that's my next project. Born out of the thought that the fat bikes are not ideal in the city or on the road.

Most of the parts are ready to go. I built the wheels a couple of months ago, but been busy finishing up the retro project. And just having too much fun riding dirt (and rocks).

Speaking of GBs lol, just picked this up to do gravel bike conversion:

Already a good setup with the 700 by 38c tires. Gonna change out the seat post for a rigid setback one, change out the fork to a solid road one, and put mtb stem and flat bar set up for now, and maybe eventually go dropbar. It has good components that work well right now.

I detailed my Farley (cleaned up), not that I wanted to, but
during my morning ride through Wawayanda I picked up a
load of yellowy/orange dog crap, which got thrown up onto my seat,
my back, my tool bag and spread nicely in the lugs of my tires.
Thanks to some non caring asshole.:(

Road bike maintenance

Cleats were pretty played,
couldn't really engage the left one- replaced them.

Stripped down the bike, washed it, and cleaned up the drivetrain.
Pretty sure I found the culprit for the intermittent squeak.
One of the chainring bolts was rusted and pretty corroded on the collar piece.
A little degreaser and steel wool took care of that.

Put it back together with some fresh rubbers,
and it's ready for Sunday.
