I know. It’s weird how people act like 175 cranks are the equivalent of V-brakes. Chris Blevins is winning World Cup races on 175 cranks so I’m pretty sure they still work.





I’ll sell the group set minus the cranks for $850.

I think I have a 170mm crankset laying around I can swap the XOs with and include them for the $1000.


Honestly, I’ve gotten a bunch of low ball offers (mostly on pinkbike). I’m not super motivated ti sell so unless I get the asking price, I’ll sit on this. I’ll eventually wear out my current AXS Eagle group set and I’ll have this as a backup. The asking price is still the cheapest you see anywhere.

175 I'm sure is perfect for xc bikes but today's down country to Enduro have so much drop on the BBs you have no choice. Currently running 145 on my wild. Gone are the constant strikes I was getting even with 155s.
So tempting to move on that group minus cranks 😁

I had a takeoff GX transmission group that I sold a little while back. Had the same issue with the cranks and wound up selling it without them. (Which reminds me I still need to list and sell those.) 175's aren't THAT antiquated.

The Levo has 165s and I can hit them on the ground on the road 😂

Been on 175s forever and never had excessive strikes, but wouldn’t you know it I smashed my left crank arm about 10 times on my ride today after reading this thread.

Check your rear shock psi. When mine would get low, I’d hit a lot more rocks.

PS update your AXS transmission rear derailleur. The last firmware update speeds up shifting a ton. Blowing through all gears is still slow, but 1 or 2 is so much faster.
