IDK, I never heard about that movie. First saw a documentary about it last year or so.

if you can do nature jims bridge that road is a walk in the park.
the worlds most dangerous road is rt 22. dodging cars from the center island is like bumper cars. i think ralph nadar declared this road unsafe at any speed.

been there in 1998 when it was still opened for cars .
beautiful road , many cross beside the road marking people lost thier lifes there in accidents.

I know one traveler looked back for his buddies and missed the curve going downhill ...
