There will be beers though.
I will have a few refreshments with me. If they last that long.

what is the secret sauce that allows this ride to go out every Wednesday regardless of weather?
Just out of curiosity what makes Wildcat immune to the normal outcome of unrideable trails after days of rain? I've only ridden here once, and yes it's VERY rocky and steep (and contains some of my blood, flesh, and bike parts) , but what is the secret sauce that allows this ride to go out every Wednesday regardless of weather?
this is 100% true. The surface at Wildcat consists of rock, broken glass, bicycle parts and the bones of dead cyclists. Impervious to water damage.

Thanks but my elbow is still sore from my OTB at this place! And pretty sure I had to replace a few fillings too.Hit me up anytime for a tour after a few days of rain if you want to be amazed.

Wifey is out of town. I'm out.
ha! ignore my question in the BIYF thread...i just thought i'd come over here to see if it was already answered and...it was!No idea. In general, Wildcat drains better than most other places. There are some really bulletproof singletrack trails at/near Wildcat that are pretty much always rideable. There's obviously some stuff there that doesn't drain as well and gets affected by freeze/thaw, but as long as you know what to ride and how to connect it while avoiding the wetter areas, you can almost always get a ride in. There are also endless shitty woods roads and atv trails around if the singletrack isn't good.

I'll be there next week. I also might be down for a slow Wildcat ride tomorrow afternoon if anyone is around, although I might just sleep all day instead.
