Wild Cat Wednesday!

Just out of curiosity what makes Wildcat immune to the normal outcome of unrideable trails after days of rain? I've only ridden here once, and yes it's VERY rocky and steep (and contains some of my blood, flesh, and bike parts) , but what is the secret sauce that allows this ride to go out every Wednesday regardless of weather?

No idea. In general, Wildcat drains better than most other places. There are some really bulletproof singletrack trails at/near Wildcat that are pretty much always rideable. There's obviously some stuff there that doesn't drain as well and gets affected by freeze/thaw, but as long as you know what to ride and how to connect it while avoiding the wetter areas, you can almost always get a ride in. There are also endless shitty woods roads and atv trails around if the singletrack isn't good.

Hit me up anytime for a tour after a few days of rain if you want to be amazed.

sorry no brownies

The surface at Wildcat consists of rock, broken glass, bicycle parts and the bones of dead cyclists. Impervious to water damage.
