Wow, my entire lifetime of horrible self esteem (well placed given my short, fat white guyness and lack of anything resembling charisma) combined with the crippling fear of appearing sexist or creepy and this very thread all combine to make me even more thankful for the wonderful, smart, and beautiful woman with really poor taste who chose to marry me.

Listen. I know i dug into the OP pretty hard (partly because norm so conveniently looked the other way) but he had it coming. Seriously. My opinion isn't some all inclusive men suck attitude. It's the fact this guy came in here with an attitude about picking up hot chicks, thinking "how you doin'?" is a legit pick up line and that his bros would help him out. If OP thinks that kind of attitude works, then he's barking up the wrong forum. He should be checking out the Jersey shore cast rejects.

Listen I couldn't care less that you dug into me. You're entitled to your opinion. What gets me is how badly you misinterpreted what I meant and are trying to paint me as a sexist pig. I am in NO way trying to pick up chicks and expecting my bros to help me. Refer back to my post about unicorns.
As far as using "how you doin'" as a pick up line, get a sense of humor. I suppose you took my 1st ever thread here just as seriously and you really think I am Wedge from Star Wars and actually fly an X-wing. BTW that picture isn't really me.
I posted this morning with no "sexist" attitude at all. Look up what "tongue in cheek" means. And in the interest of full disclosure I am married and have 2 kids. So you can get over yourself and go paint some other schmuck in a bad light because you cant take a joke.
I'm married to one, but its no wonder "Jersey Girls" are the butt of so many jokes. Completely full of yourselves and think every guy is trying to pick you up just because we give you a compliment.
