Need some help here. I have been contemplating building wheels for my beargrease but the 170/177 rear end and the fact that I can't run a 5" tire is holding me back.

Does anyone have any saddle time on the 9 zero 7 Whiteout?

I have heard that they don't run well with a 4" tire, any truth to that?

If I were to go down this road, it would be my year round bike.

I have not tried a 9 zero 7. But my 197mm blizzard rode great with 4" on 65mm. not sure if the geometry is close, but 197 is not an issue with 4"

Good to hear, the 2015 Whiteout frame/fork are on "sale" for $1800 at fatbike.com.......kind of tempting. I am not ready to make the jump to the 16.

The S-Works frameset is only 2k. You'll be able to do front flips on log piles because of how light the bike is.

This is either going to get real expensive or end up in carbon wheels..........looks like I need to roll the dice on the weather. Really don't want to lay down new bike $.
