If you'll be driving I would recommend Isola D'Elba since you are in the general area, most scenery is a short drive away from the cities you can reach by ferry (Portoferraio, Porto Azzurro and Rio). Or any other small island of the Arcipelago Toscano National Park (minus the one used a prison).

I spent many good times in Elba and I would go back now if I could!
