The trails on the cape and islands are like Allaire and Wharton, sandy with pines more than other trees. Roads are busy. You can find good routes if riding up there just do some research. Otherwise eating lobster, oysters, steamers, etc and letting your SO shop while you drink. Also good beaches and fishing. Water is a little cold and has sharks tho.

Capes big where ya staying. We usually stay in Eastham few ok restaurants. Golf course in Dennis, gotta get Wellfleet oysters on half shell. Winery in Truro. Kayak the bay and don't swim if you see sharks or seals

My brother is there with his family now. He enjoys sitting and doing nothing on vacation, and there seems to be many opportunities for that. (IN all seriousness, he goes there quite a bit and says the kayaking is great.) Also, Treehouse Brewing has a pretty incredible place at Sandwich there from what I hear.

People watching in P-town.
Ferry trip to nowhere. Maybe see a whale!
I played golf last time - much more "hilly" than you'd expect.

Just you and the Mrs?

Visit her snapchat friends for ice cream.

Are you driving? expose her(i think?) to Dartmouth and URI. Quick walk through campus, nothing more.
We hit so many before the pandemic (his junior year) that we didn't need to go anywhere that summer.
Explain "size" and "quality" - city/suburban experience.

Actually - hit colleges every trip from here on out. If in season, go to a soccer or other sports game.
they are cheap, and don't have to stay. The kids are all into chatting up someone they think is visiting.
I was really impressed.

Ferry to Martha's vineyard then rent bikes on the other side. We've taken the car but imo not worth the cost and trouble if not staying for a few days. But get ferry tickets early online. Lmk if you want hotel or inn recommendations

There was a drive in movie theater in Wellfleet. Not sure if it's still open. There is a rail trail in Dennis that goes far. Cape Cod beer is great and they have a brewery tour.

In P-town this loop trail is great for sweeping views. It’s all paved amd runs through the dunes. Totally worth checking out

Are the rest of your family early birds like you? Stuff in a bike for a short morning roll and bring back breakfast. Always worked or me and was justification for a Bike Friday folding bike. 🙂
