What are you talking about? There's no paint job and no $500. At most some touch up paint for a couple of small chips on the seat stays.
That was an awful lot of paint talk for not doing paint.

Thanks for your positive contribution, truly appreciated. I apologize for not talking about the correct sock length or the perfect saddle angle, we'll try to do better next time.
I'll be glad to contribute an entry to BIYF as soon as I will be in the position to do so. Hopefully soon.

Now that I am sober again, here is a suggestion:
If there are small chips and you can’t find a match paint, you can always do a highlight color. It serves two purposes, cover up the chip and also make the frame unique.

Definitely an option but It’s not really my style.
I understand you don’t want to be original, but see past the style I posted, can be painting an entire drop out, bottom bracket, etc.
I have a Pantone color for my Tallboy's paint job. Googling has come up with nada for where to buy a paint pen.
Can someone shine light on where I could get a paint pen with a pantone color? I could swear there was a previous post recently in here about getting a paint pen with a RAL color, but there's 100 argument posts in here a day. 🙂

The painter can do it also. When I had my Seven repainted I had in done in UPS truck brown. He just scanned the truck and the color was dead on. When I had Rusty repowdered by Brew I just told him to pick a brown he thought was cool as I wasn't going for anything in particular. Personally, I think if you're going through the trouble of painting something, it should be unique.

I agree 100%, but the general condition of this frame really doesn’t call for a full paint job. I’ve been thinking about having the mukluk painted one solid color (I do like the yellow on the frame) as the olive stripe on the front doesn’t rally do it for me but it would be completely unnecessary right now.
