What nuance of red should have @Pearl paint his 2014 EM SS to get $1500 for it? Let’s debate.

i cant remember, did @pooriggy ever find a dropper for his single speed? wasnt that what he needed?
Good luck finding one, 27.2 dropper post hard to source even if you're willing to pay for one! 😉

I thought you got a 30.1 for the Salsa?
El Mariachi is 27.2 , I think you meant 30.9, I don't think a 30.1 dropper post exists. I could not find the specs for your superfly but it looks like a 27.2? Love that bike!

I could get $1500 for mine?!
Not from me. You can ask though, there's a 2015 SS same specs as yours asking for $1650, a geared one asking for $1500...I may eventually cave in but not for a while. If I have to burn that money I may as well wait exactly for what I'm looking for. There's probably better chances that I grow taller and buy @Reggie 's El Mariachi instead...back in 2016 I was after a 1997 Proflex 857/957 or 1998 K2 4000/5000, no dice for months...I'm now the arguably proud owner of 2 1998 K2 5000, 2 1998 K2 4000, 1 k2 2000, 1 2002 K2 Evo , 1 1997 Proflex 857 and 1 1997 Proflex 957, all complete frames except for 1 k2 4000 that I occasionally ride in the driveway. And I should mention that all come with their swingarm (all but one in carbon) and crosslink forks...

I got an instant email return that said yeah we can fix that, my follow up questions (same day) 4 months later have still not been answered. Thats all I needed to decide. I passed the frame on to someone here and started a new. @Mitch You should of just pulled the trigger on that vassago, your at the age of the finer things of life 🙂
If you want meet up and swing a leg over mine for a day your more then welcome.
I too got a quick reply on FB Messenger. A riding friend who had a very similar repair suggested contacting Bilenky and his repair took 3 weeks. Dropped it off 10 days after initial contact for repair. Actually completing the repair was the issue.
@serviceguy , wow, thanks for all the input. That last one looks great but I don't need a whole bike. For that price I would do the Vasaggo and buy new wheels already.
And not spending 1000 on a damaged or even undamaged frame. Would go new as well.
So options are to see what Lynsky says, find another Ti welder other then Bilinky as per @JDurk or drop the cash on a Vassago or similar.
@mattybfat what size you get? I see the Large has a TT like 25.8? My usual TT and Salsa are 24.3. That's a long TT but then again I'm not up on the new Geo going on. Anyone intrested in a new 27.2 brand new dropper post? :*)
@Mitch see my reply above, I would still contact Bilenky just in case. You may get lucky. I actually considered the Vassago route, but like you, didn't want to replace every part, so went with the IndyFab. Frame size was also iffy for me. I've always been on a medium, but after speaking to Tom V, he recommended a small.

Bill, Yes he did buy one.

Iggy, you are worse then me. You know I got a 27.2, we talked about it. And when I told you about it you also said no worries, the Vassago is 27.2 as well. WRONG. lol, I'm still shit out of luck till I fix this one.
@Mitch I've been shopping frames, a fair number of the current designs offer a variety of dropouts. A lot of them are going to be longer/lower/slacker though.
I'm intrigued by the the new angles and Matty offered me to come up and try his. Im now an old slacker so maybe I will like slacker angles.

.I'm now the arguably proud owner of 2 1998 K2 5000, 2 1998 K2 4000, 1 k2 2000, 1 2002 K2 Evo , 1 1997 Proflex 857 and 1 1997 Proflex 957, all complete frames except for 1 k2 4000 that I occasionally ride in the driveway. On a side note, you have a problem.

I was a few clicks away from one of these, the angles aren't too too crazy and the colors are rad. They can ship with boost or non-boost dropouts. If you've got QR, I can't help you. 😉 Dunno about USA shipping.

i still dont understand why you havent pulled the trigger on that marino. you could easily drop the rest on a custom paint shop to make it exactly how you want

My ewr seatpost is 29.4. 27.2 with a 27.2-29.4 shim, done.

PNW pine FTW

Because I want an El Mariachi, perhaps? It's a first world problem thing, you know...

You already have the Pivot Les SS, why not get a FS geared bike and venture out away from Allaire.
