Love those cranks, I ended up going with a 28 tooth chain ring to compensate for the reduced leverage. If you are struggling with the climbs, look into one of those.Got my Canfield 155mm crank set installed today and Wolftooth seat post lever. I really don’t know how to describe the feeling of the shorter cranks. It’s really nice having my short legs closer together especially with the seat post higher.View attachment 267004View attachment 267005
Got the spokes on both rims fixed. Went home, reinstalled the tire on the MTB then went to do the gravel back, had this happen:

I was using a Park Tool plastic tire lever, nothing more. Never registered the wheels with Roval, so hopefully they will honor the warranty.
Shop said they have it under control. They're super good to me, lending me a pair of wheels until the replacement shows.Godspeed. Tell them it happened while riding.
I purchased the cranks and 28 tooth chain ring together. Lance from Canfield is a wealth of knowledge..Love those cranks, I ended up going with a 28 tooth chain ring to compensate for the reduced leverage. If you are struggling with the climbs, look into one of those.
Just an fyi, I run steel sram chain rings. 28 tooth alloy rings seem to ware out quickly.I purchased the cranks and 28 tooth chain ring together. Lance from Canfield is a wealth of knowledge..
What brand do you run?Just an fyi, I run steel sram chain rings. 28 tooth alloy rings seem to ware out quickly.
Drilled a couple of holes thru my Crankbrothers M19 "tool flask" so that I could mount it directly to the frame. It didn't go quite to plan as I then discovered that one of the bolts was seized in the frame, so it's only held on with one bolt. The head of the seized bolt stops it from rotating.
It didn't fall off on my first ride; time will tell if the single bolt shakes loose.

I'd say ez-out or counterCC drill bit for the win, especially if the bolt is Alloy. If it doesn't move 4mm drill bit and drill it out then rethread.I have rivnuts if you want to drill the one out - of course it will drop into the frame and make another project.....
guess we could get it out of the seat tube....
rethread.
