What have you done to your bike today?

Sick of the weeping caliper issues on my shimano 4 pots, i also upgraded to some Dominion A4's. One thing i wasn't aware of was the I Spec EV thing that my bike's controls used. Essentially the brake controls are the priomary bar clamp mechanism and the shifter and dropper lever both piggy back off that. With nowhere to mount them, luckily Hayes has an adapter for the shifter but not for the dropper since shimano seems to be the only one making a Ispec dropper lever. Found some conversion bar clamps for like $40-50 but thought this would be a good, low stress candidate for a 3d printed clamp. Whipped this one up and seems to be fairly solid. Will see once i get some dwell time on it though.

I bought a transition Spur All country bike.
Hopefully it shows up and I didn't get scammed.

Ti Sonder will be up for sale. .
Going to swap wheels and tire. Possibly fork too.

I think I was scammed. Haven't had any luck contacting seller . Pink bike has flag him a scammer and deleted account.
First time in all my years buying and selling bikes

Both. Sram dropped new Force and Rival yesterday. Basically made them have the same hood shape and massive braking power/pad clearance as Red24. Current Force to Red24 is like running Levels vs Codes. And they get the aux buttons to control the computer or shift depending on how you program them. I’m waiting for a 50c compatible Aspero5, which is probably 2 years away? I feel like they just launched the one with the SWAT last year.
Looks like the new aspero 5 can only run 45s. I guess you're right with the 2 years out...
Build up a regular Aspero with 50s...

Set up Jackson for this weekend’s Longest Day. Trying to run as aero as possible and still be able to sit on the bike for 12-hours.

Custom front wheel feels fast. Running my zero offset post with the saddle slammed forward so the aero bars are comfy. Wireless blips setup like TT shifters on the extensions. Running skinny 28c tires. Might run a little bag under the top tube for extra snacks.

Front wheel needs same pink/purple splatter. Didn't you DIY that previously?

um - this looks like a record attempt.....

At best it will be a test for a future record attempt. I did make a Segment for the new Course and it’s about 35 minutes slower than when I set it Solo on the pre-2017 Route. The new 2017+KOM was set when we did it as a 3-person team. I’m confident I can take it but probably not this week.

Repaired a rear flat tire, small wire through tire into tube.
BUT, when I went to remove the through axle it wasn't even tight! (12mm)
I know I tightened that beyond tight a month ago! This time I blue locktighted the threads,
and I put a nut on the protruding threads sticking out of the frame. I'll have to check it weekly.
