Posting this early in hopes of getting a good group out to start the season. We have 2 decent size reroutes planned along with some winter repairs & cleanup, all on the Yellow trail. High Tech Landscapes is again sending a nice sized crew to assist us. I'd love to get this all taken care of at this session, and the more help we get, the better the chance is that we can make that happen. So if you enjoy this park, please try and come out and help.

More details:

- Meeting @ the Vosseller Ave parking area at 9:00am (Where Hillcrest & Vosseller connect). This is a small grass field.
- We will be walking to the work sites from there
- Tools will be supplied
- Bring work gloves but we have some if needed

Please chime in if you can make it so we can plan accordingly.

Not working! BUT, it might be moving day for me. I'll know more next week.
 
I'll be joining as well. This will be my first TM. Other than work gloves, what else should I bring? Also, how long should I be prepared to be there?

Glad you can make it out. We usually work about 3 hours at a normal session. This one may run longer based on the projects but you can work as short or long as you'd like. Bring something to drink and wear some kind of hiking boot if you have them. Bug spray might be a good idea as well.
 
I'm gonna be out at a show the night before so I'll be there later to tell you guys what to do.
 
Is there a minimum age for kids? A friend wants to come to the TM, and is thinking of bringing his 8 yr-old son (who apparently loves digging and getting dirty). For some reason I thought the minimum age was 12, but figured I'd check.
 
last TM had a lot of pick ax and stone throwing action
when mine were 8, they would have been in the way
but will let @Kirt make the call

We would love to have him come out to lend a hand. He will not be able to use any of the trail building type tools due to park rules but I can certainly put him to work with a few other projects.

What an awesome day out there today. I think there was about 40 people today and that helped get every project on the list done. Huge improvements to that section of the park that I think just about everyone will enjoy. Can't thank everyone enough. And of course a huge thanks to High Tech Landscapes for the large crew they sent out to help, couldn't have gotten it done without them.

Just got word that everything is riding real well and the section seems to have more flow now. 😀
