Washington Valley Park (CR) TM Sat 10/10 9am

I rode it today both ways. Love the new work. Top notch! Many thanks for the work on this!

I really need to get out here.

But unless the trails are suddenly cross bike friendly, I'm going to have to wait.. I finally sent my lefty to mendon seeing as how it needed to be reset per every hour of riding, and my other mtb is in pieces.

Maybe next week.

Any plans for an alt route to avoid the gravel road?

At this point, no. Highly unlikely we could get approval for that as adding new trails is not on the table, only reroutes of existing. Plan is to get singletrack to the upper damn. From there it is only a short pedal on the fireroad to the ST on the left that that climbs up to the connector/Granola.

I don't even know who this is. 🙁

Hey. ...you're quoting me out of context!

Great work guys, got a chance to walk it today with the dogs. it will really change the way you can ride that side of the park. Unfortunately I ALREADY saw broken glass bottles on the new trail, some people were just born assholes...

Is this the impossible-for-me-to-ride trail along the stream that comes back out onto the road near the bridge? Looked like a spot that would be tough to build for sure. Great job to everyone involved! Looks like it's been there for years.

I rode it today and WOW, just WOW. There is some benching about 10 vf above the old yellow along the water (which was unrideable for me). It is like a miracle. Thanks, crew and High Tech-Great Job!

I was in rotator cuff limbo last weekend and didn't work it, but saw it today and it is just amazing that there is this great ST where there used to be just a tangled jumble or a jumbled tangle.

Also noticed that the two trees that fell above the Voseller Rd High Tech Trail had been chainsawed (thanks), which opens up that end of the park a lot. Both had been entwined with poison ivy vines.

Cheers, everyone.

Rode the new section of the yellow trail along the water yesterday also and it was awesome. Carried my bike along the old lower section along the water a few times...now it's ride able. Many thanks to Paul and High Tech and everyone else who picked in to get that done. That was a lot of rock to move. Hopefully it will hold up after we get some heavy rains. Thanks again and happy riding.
