Looking to rent a inverter style generator for a RV trip with our hookups.
Interested to see if anyone has one they would be willing to rent for a weekend.

How big of a generator? As in wattage and what do you plan to use it for. Running AC, microwave, battery charging and 12v lighting?

I have a Honda 2200i Companion that works with my teardrop camper. Mostly used to top off the battery when solar isn't enough. It will run AC or microwave, but not both at the same time.

I was thinking 2000w, so that is exactly what I was looking for. Won't need AC, probably just heat, lighting, wall outlets for charging/coffee, and the on demand water heater.

This is what I roll for off grid

Plus an add on for double.
I don't run A/C or microwave ever, it's camping. I also run two large marine battery's and use the ecoflow to top off via trickle charger. If I have good sun support I can live off these for any trip I been on. We can not stand ICE campers and tend to scope out sites far away from them. It's 2025 learn how to not be apart of the noise pollution 😁

I get it, this isn't camping though. It's for a ride, so infield of a race track for one night. I am trying to avoid buying anything since it is unlikely to be be used again
Also, when we do take the rv for 'camping' it's still not camping. When the RV has 2 bedrooms and 500sqft at a KOA, it's not camping.

Yeah we are polar opposites, I yanked the TV out. About to pull the stove and microwave as well for storage. We are nothing more then glorified tent on wheels with a frig water and bathroom. @shrpshtr325 how many times have you camped in the past couple years, 🦗 exactly! Your opinion means jackshit!
