video software

Really enjoying everyone's videos/postings...I've reached out to some of you - but wondering what software people are using? I've used the Microsoft MovieMaker that came with my computer - but considering other programs.

Do you have a Mac by chance? Ilife comes with a pretty good editing program called Imovie that's very easy to use. I've also used Final Cut Pro and Director but they're expensive and complicated:popcorn:

Adobe Premiere is a really great video editing package. The Pro version is big bucks but you can pick up the "elements" version for like $50. It will do just about anything an amateur could want.

If you're just looking to replicate what others have been doing on there, I think you can do pretty much everything on Microsoft Movie Maker ..

My frustration with Movie Maker is that it doesn't seem to handle .MOV files. And converting them turns them into compressed garbage.

Unless someone has figured this out?

So I use Adobe Premier which is overly complicated and "big" for what I need to do.

Brandon - thanks man, that works well. Much better than the other converters I've tried.
