Brad I was mad on Sunday when the flea market was closed! I wanted to go inside and do a little pre-race shopping! The people who were there for the flea market looked at us like we were nuts! (even though we are)
Tommy and I really want to go to the Baystate Cyclocross in Sterling, Mass
but Skylands and the Bull doggies need our support for getting their race back up and running. We might go to Mass on Saturday then SCCX on Sunday.

Back to the NJ Cyclocross Cup in Hamburg, NJ. The SCCX is presented by Skylands Cycling and Team Bulldogs. After hurricane Sandy ripped through our area and forced the cancellation of the longest running Cyclocross event in New Jersey the event promoters stepped up with a new Cross location.

Such a slacker - I mean it was like a balmy 30 degrees. I can picture an array of hard drives on your desk to backup all the photos you took this season. Not to mention the time doing the right-ups. 😀

I'm just one of the helpers on this. Brian, Blake, and Bob L. deserve the credit for the work behind the scenes. We all had a hand in it and just wanted to make it the best we could given the circumstances.

Keep up the good work on the coverages. It's always good to see your recaps and photos!

Sean I know, I'll make up for it this Sunday. I plan on taking 1,000 pictures and maybe even racing! It's going to be a muddy mess!
 
Horseshoe Scramble 12.2.12

Horseshoe Scramble

Better late than never. This past Sunday was the final round of the NJCX Cup at the Horseshoe Scramble in Stirling, NJ. The Jim Vreeland designed course would not disappoint. Mid week snow and above normal temps turned most of the course to mud.
