i do think he's racist and sexist and homophobic. i've said that even on this thread. i stand by my view of that. that's what he's shown me. and it worries me that people overlook what he's said and still voted for him.

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." Maya Angelou

ETA: I am also NOT a fan of how people are whining about changing the electoral college and all that... he won. i own up to that. i am not going to sit and cry because i didn't get my special snowflake trophy but i still have the right to be angry about the outcome

Literally the first 3 people he hired in his cabinet are: A Woman (who ran his campaign), a gay man, and a black guy. A gay guy also spoke at his convention. You're narrative doesn't fit reality. Get your head out of whatever shit blog you read and actually look at his actions.

this is what i'm talking about... i am entitled to my opinion. someone didn't tell me how to feel or how to vote... i saw how he acted and what he said at the debates... i saw the twitter rants... i saw hillary's too... i came to my own conclusions... i am entitled to my own opinion... no matter how wrong you think i am. just like you're entitled to yours no matter how wrong i think you are.

But you attacking people while doing so. Being more rude than trump.

@gtluke i did say i didn't want to get into an argument with you. we have our own, very different opinions and that is VERY FUCKING CLEAR.

i have work to do. i'm getting off this thread because it's obvious that this isn't really an open thread afterall.

No going to make any political statement here because ... holy fucking shit, you guys seems to have it covered ...

But I do like the good folks on this forum enough to want to help with transitions in any way I can. So with that in mind, I thought I'd share some valuable insights CNN shared with me today. As there seem to be many folks nationwide who are now struggling with the follow-through on statements about leaving the country if one or the other candidate was elected, and enough seemed to at least look into it since Tuesday evening to cause the crash of the Canadian immigration page. But, according to the good folks at CNN, it seems that a wiser choice to crash an immigration page would be Austria, as Vienna comes in as the number one destination for ex-pats world wide. But perhaps more importantly, if you are currently debating where to establish your new home, I would implore you based on the well-considered research reported by CNN, to please NOT choose the following cities: Baghdad, Iraq; Bangui, Central African Republic; Sana'a, Yemen; Port-Au-Prince, Haiti; Khartoum, Sudan; and Damascus, Syria. I can only conclude that this is because the good folks at the Mercer Institute have an internal bias in their models against perpetual threats of violence, crippling poverty, total lack of infrastructure, and/or current status as a lawless war-torn no-man's land. At any rate, those locations are considered "poor" choices for ex-pats. I apologize to be the bearer of bad news for those who have already purchased their tickets to any of these locations, but I think in the long run you'll probably thank me for the intervention.

So ... carry on then ...

I read a good analogy for the Electoral College for all the sore losers whining about it now. A team doesn't win the world series by scoring the most runs in the series, it wins by winning the most games.

How about the name of our new cuntry above? How did you like that? What about the bad language before I went nuke? Think the mods will warn them?

So that is exactly where a plane crashed in 1946. On it was my uncle, Pasquale. He was a surgeon returning from WW2. Unfortunate.

In 1963, his widow, my Aunt Eileen tried to buy a house in one of the Ocean Beach developments in Lavalette. The sales manager told her that she was OK, but her son looked too Italian.

My aunt was a crazy irish like me. Her rank in the Coast Guard was Captain, the equivalent of a full bird Colonel. She was used to getting her way. In one of her finest "Fuck me? FUCK YOU!!!!!!" moments, she bought a lot exactly six times bigger and a house three times bigger in the development adjacent.

Like to see President RUMP try to grab that *****. He would have lost one of his short fingered hands.

CNN said:
Leaders in his transition include former Rep. Mike Rogers, former Reagan Attorney General and Heritage Foundation fellow Edwin Meese, former President of Heritage Edwin Feulner, former Bush administration official and lobbyist Christine Ciccone, former Dick Cheney adviser Ado Machida, former Senate Budget Committee staffer Eric Ueland and Sen. Jeff Sessions' former chief of staff Rick Dearborn. The effort is chaired by New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Trump counts former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Sessions as close advisers.
Lower level staffers assigned with crafting different departments are also heavily drawn from K Street, the center of lobbying in Washington, and congressional staff, according to a staff organizational chart obtained by CNN.

Swamp drained.

No one should have to feel like this.. Is it the Billy Bush tape...his wife did some nude modelling ...(I know about the 11 or so women who said he did had some kind of misconduct with them, but at this point I think they have to be discounted for 2 reasons.. one was paid by Gloria Allred.. and given Trumps financial position, I would think they would have come forward a looong time ago.. now if its proven in court, I will being singing a different tune - and he's not going to do that with someone he thinks isn't good enough cause of their gender..

.

Its up to 14 women including the woman who is represented by Gloria Allred's daughter, who is an attorney as well. She is accusing our President elect of raping her four times when she was 13 years old.

But then again, numbers are my life.

Anyway, he is our President in two months so let's all get behind him. That will make it more difficult fo' tRUMP to grab our genitalia, aight?

If you voted to put Bill Clinton back in the white house... Someone who has actually had to settle cases of sexual assault against him and multiple accusations of rape.. You have no credibility on this issue.

Bill Clinton was not on the ballot, so I don't think many people voted for him.

For reals... can someone please share some positive/enlightening/factfilled features/stories about what Trump administration will look like.

Everything I'm reading is more of the same with lobbyists/corporates/retreaded republican filling for cabinet positions. I'm not asking for Clinton would suck articles.

Everything I read is speculation. I don't think anybody really knows yet.

Every time I see Trump, he has a look like he's suddenly regretting winning. Maybe when he saw how old Obama looked he got scared.

1. Global equity markets up. (New whip)

2. My taxes Prolly going down. (CRABON!)

3. The men who run the GOP will show President $hort Fingered Vulgarian who it is that runs the show.

4. Governor Bridgegate will continue to twist in the wind. (Palatucci is a good man, doe, and we should elect him to some office)

5. They will build that new rail tunnel under the Hudson and all rail service will improve to Manhattan. (Everyone likes a good train ride!)

5.5. GOLF should pick up: good for @pooriggy !

6. If that's playing the $$$$$ card, then DEAL ME IN! (Booyah: Can I get an AMEN?)

Lol at what is going on with TRump University trial.....

My prediction.....TRump will piss off the GOP and get impeached before his first 4 years.....that or they will have him take a ride in a convertible.

Like I told my upset friend today....don't worry, all that happened the last time we had a republican president was 9/11, two wars and a financial melt down. Oh and don't forget the greatest increase of the deficit in the history of the country.....nothing to worry about😀
