Well I am feeling damn good about my vote.. I wrote in @Frank and @Johnny Utah cause I love their 3B platform and slogan.. Bikes Beers and Burritos... and not necessarily in that order.. maybe 2020 fellas!

for the record, I am voting for @Johnny Utah in 2020. Phatties Phorever!

I agree that the electoral college method has quirks. Why not just use popular vote instead of you win Florida by 200k and get all 29 electoral votes? Also, why have this silly system where North Fucking Dakota has three votes because it has two senators?

My plan is better. The West coast, Hawaii, Colorado, New Mexico and the northeast NY, NJ, NE and all those blue states secede with Colin Powell as the first President. His first job will be to annex Florida, cuz I like GOLF. We name the new country “FUCK YOU MORONS”. Then we sit back and laugh with our legal 420 while tRUMP bans abortion, rap, Muslims, Mexicans and my nizzle. Wanna join me?

The joke’s on them who elected the BIGGEST idiot. But, of course he is our president now, just like on the Simpsons in 2003, so I will support him in my new role as Secretary of Mountain biking.

I read a good analogy for the Electoral College for all the sore losers whining about it now. A team doesn't win the world series by scoring the most runs in the series, it wins by winning the most games.

Michael Moore back in July....

Can we speak honestly, just among ourselves? And before we do, let me state, I actually like Hillary – a lot – and I think she has been given a bad rap she doesn’t deserve. But her vote for the Iraq War made me promise her that I would never vote for her again. To date, I haven’t broken that promise. For the sake of preventing a proto-fascist from becoming our commander-in-chief, I’m breaking that promise. I sadly believe Clinton will find a way to get us in some kind of military action. She’s a hawk, to the right of Obama. But Trump’s psycho finger will be on The Button, and that is that. Done and done.

Let’s face it: Our biggest problem here isn’t Trump – it’s Hillary. She is hugely unpopular — nearly 70% of all voters think she is untrustworthy and dishonest. She represents the old way of politics, not really believing in anything other than what can get you elected. That’s why she fights against gays getting married one moment, and the next she’s officiating a gay marriage. Young women are among her biggest detractors, which has to hurt considering it’s the sacrifices and the battles that Hillary and other women of her generation endured so that this younger generation would never have to be told by the Barbara Bushes of the world that they should just shut up and go bake some cookies. But the kids don’t like her, and not a day goes by that a millennial doesn’t tell me they aren’t voting for her. No Democrat, and certainly no independent, is waking up on November 8th excited to run out and vote for Hillary the way they did the day Obama became president or when Bernie was on the primary ballot. The enthusiasm just isn’t there. And because this election is going to come down to just one thing — who drags the most people out of the house and gets them to the polls — Trump right now is in the catbird seat.

I mean I still thought she would win because Trump was less likable, but when Micheal Moore is saying: "Only reason ill vote for her is bc shes not Trump" Thats not good enough, that's not inspiring people to go out and vote and support your side. I have always thought that "there is no way Hillary would ever become president because of how unlikable/untrustworthy she and her husband are" But I totally suspended that thought this time bc of who she was running against. Other reasons aside.

That's true (and I'm not complaining about the electoral college), but if the electoral college is a baseball series, some runs count more than others.

A "run" in Wyoming is worth as much as 3 "runs" in New Jersey.

While this is terrible, it could have been done by anyone.

there's numerous cases of stuff like this popping up... and, yes, it could have been done by anyone... and that's scary. pro-trump or pro-hillary (in protest to trump's election), this is what people are resorting to.

i like how the nazi vandalism is automatically "probably the other guy"... instead of "that's a shame" or "that's just wrong" because, as we've seen, both sides are oh-so-peaceful and could never do something like that out of pure hate and rage.

Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but my train of thought went like this.

1. Nazi typically makes me think anti-Semitism. And Trump seems to want to improve relations with Israel.
2. That makes me think the person who did the vandalism was a moron.
3. We give way too much attention to morons and it only adds to their desire to get in the spot light.

read the wikileaks. Hillary was caught hiring agent provocateurs already. those violent people at the trump rally were paid for by Hillary and instructed to get into fights, payment records exist, the instructions were on video. Now there is forever doubt at the honesty of any act perpetrated.

first... of all people, @gtluke i am not getting into an argument with you (talk about a nuclear war)... and i'm not looking for one.

i do admit that it could have been done by either "side"... what i'm saying is that people are resorting to symbols of pure hate to instill fear and anger in people... and that is a scary thought

Its usually just dumb kids. swastikas are nothing new. Its just spray paint

I will site this example as suspicious. The church in Greenville, Mississippi that was set on fire last week where the words "Vote Trump" were clearly painted on the building. Its odd, that in a town of roughly 35,000 people, 80% of which are black, no one saw people vandalizing a church, visible from the street. It's also odd, that the town is like 25 square miles or something, that firefighters were on the scene within moments. People are getting out of control, and the media isn't helping by any means.

Yeah, I've seen children on facebook screaming about how anyone who voted for trump is a racist, misogynist, or homophobic. It's pretty bad out there how people react when they don't get their way.
I guess like burning Trump in effigy and beating the shit out of strangers in the street.

i do think he's racist and sexist and homophobic. i've said that even on this thread. i stand by my view of that. that's what he's shown me. and it worries me that people overlook what he's said and still voted for him.

"When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." Maya Angelou

ETA: I am also NOT a fan of how people are whining about changing the electoral college and all that... he won. i own up to that. i am not going to sit and cry because i didn't get my special snowflake trophy but i still have the right to be angry about the outcome
