Hi hope you're well! Really hoping to sell it to a fellow MTBer - it has been with me through so many adventures, but sadly I am not moving it overseas to live with me (it's financially impossible for me to do so)

2014 - 119,624 miles
Asking 22k - it's in great condition, but I try to be as human as possible - let's talk if you feel it's out of your range but really want it.
Owned outright - title clean 🙂

as a 4R owner, I'm guessing its over 25k
Since there are two 4runner owners in this thread I have a question. Can these comfortably cruise at 80-85mph on the highway? I've always considered buying one, but I rarely see them on the highway going much above the speed limit. Not saying I'm that guy that's always flying in the left lane, but I am.

yup, itll do it, youll get even shittier gas mileage, but it works. it's our road trip vehicle and fairs just fine. taken it from NC to NJ and no complaints... it hits the wallet hard at the pump tho

if you go into it knowing you're buying a vehicle that was released in 2010, with the design of a 15 year old engine in it, you wont be disappointed

my 2021 doesnt have blind spot mirror detection and the lane keeping device or whatever just beeps if i go over the dotted line lol

This is usually the reason why people buy it. Decades of proven reliability with millions of miles behind it. As long as you manage your expectations you'll be fine. I have an even worse guzzler but I knew that going in also with a proven "million mile" engine and that is our family road trip vehicle and I love it. That's a very fair price for that 4Runner.

What's the real world mileage? My Suburban pretty much gets 17 regardless of how I drive it. I've had 5 of them and reliability is a crapshoot. Some were great but problems in the others made up for the good one's. Hence I always treat them as a ticking time bomb.

What vehicle? I've been considering Sequia's and LC's too. Used prices are just out of control.

GX460. I considered the Sequia but my wife won't drive anything that big. I'd love to get a LC but the asking prices are just insane and also too big for my wife. The GX is a little smaller and is a dream to drive on the highways.

Sorry about hijacking this thread @steen

yea, I've been able to cruise comfortably at that speed.

also just noticed, "not saying I'm that guy that's always flying in the left lane, but I am."😅

I also admire the left lane and generally people have let me pass while driving this big beauty.

Not to jinx myself but for a 7000 pound box, it draws no attention in the left lane at speed. If I drove yellow sports car like I drive the suburban I’m sure I’d be stopped all the time.

Just trying to keep your post at the top

My wife won’t even try to drive my truck.

Teaching my son to drive in one was fun. At least WE were safe.

17-19, if you can keep it under 60 you’ll be golden. When I drive to Charlotte to Wilmington, it’s flatter and the speeds are slower and I can get 18-19MPG. But now that I just dunk around most of the day, it’s 17.

I sold mandi on it because it would be worth $25k when 200k miles on it…
