Without measuring my vehicle i will assume using this with bike on the roof would be a bit tough on a Subaru Crosstrek?
If it's got newer aero bars, it's a no-go. Old school round Yakima or square Thule bars only.

Sorry Sean- i was just wondering how wide it is. I think tgis would cover my whole roof. Going to measure my car in a few. I need that and a bike rack to fit

I think it'll be too wide for the bike rack as well. It's great if you want to use your sunroof, but doesn't leave you a lot of real estate rearward.
