Things that make you smile :)

3 weeks? WoW!
Part of it includes between Xmas and new years where my company does a global holiday “shutdown” pretty standard practice for most big Pharma companies. Those days are not part of my vacation days everyone gets those.

on the other side of this my role is somewhat operational on the IT side as it relates to manufacturing so it’s possible I get called into a meeting or escalation if something goes off the rails but at least I don’t have to go to the office during this period.

My wife's company insists on having everyone use their "Global Services." AKA, underpaid overseas people who really don't care. One of them just sent out a spreadsheet to over 50 employees with everyone's pay rates. Within 4 minutes of being launched the first to reply, the lowest paid on the spreadsheet, reached out to find out why she is lowest paid.... This happened minutes ago. Wife is looking forward to all the other replies.

Sounds like she works at my company

Awhile back when the boss's (now ex) wife was the bookkeeper she printed out a summary page of the whole company payroll but forgot to take it off the printer.
