I would normally check the forecast all day long 365 days a year between riding and skiing. I don't think I've checked it twice since my crash.

Wawayanda got around to replacing their old faded flag with the nice new one I donated.
Originally they didn't want it until they saw the quality of it. A genuine military quality given
to my wife' family when her parent died. I thought they would like it flown.

Who did you contact to donate the flag? We have a flag that was given to my mom when my stepdad passed in 2012.
The local VFW seemed a bit offended that we wanted to get rid of it.

Maybe it was just the person you dealt with? Our local VFW has taken several from us over the years and seemed glad to do it. When I closed up shop I had one with all the 9/11 victims on it and they seemed happy to have that for the 9/11 memorial in town.

You can try the local PD too. They took one too. For all I know they threw it in the trash, but we did our part.
