While in the bathroom at our favorite cafe, I have to smile when I read these on the wall, knowing that some of the younger generations can't read/write cursive.

nope. i dont know exactly when they stopped but only my oldest (now 25) learned it in grade school. not sure about the middle son but the youngest is now a Senior in HS and he definitely didnt learn it.real question here do they not teach cursive writing anymore? i remember learning it in elementary school (3rd grade give or take??)

Oh I've had this discussion with MANY of my high school students. They should at least know how to sign their name...which many do not.and this isnt directed at anyone in particular, but how are these people going to sign anything? (i know checks are dead, but contracts/leases/car loans/mortgages all still require signatures dont they?)
