Things that make you smile :)

Route 10 in Whippany... It's funny how easy it was to spot that intersection.

I think you're missing the context that they make it VERY clear not to make a left turn out of that Quick Check?
ha was thinking the same thing that intersection is very recognizable.

and yes they have arrows and signs NOT to turn left. great to catch that "wish there was a cop " moment on video.

We’re in busy mode prepping our house for sale. Grabbed my favorite hammer for a job today and like every other time, the memories came flooding back.

My Dad gave me that hammer when I was around 12yo. For my entire life I have used it for every single project. It has helped me build dozens of ramps too, starting with this one in 1980.

I love tools, and really appreciate my favorites.

This kid! She's been able to ride on two wheels on her own since 2022, but she's struggled to learn starting and stopping (she's got a shit teacher TBH). This morning one of the neighbors stopped by to BS while we were all outside, and her son was zipping around on his bike. I suggested he show my daughter how to start and stop, and that ignited the spark in her. We still need to button up the starting, but she's about ready to lose that handle (and then it goes on to her little sister's bike).

She rode close to 4 miles in Duke Island Park this afternoon, and at least 1-2 more around the neighborhood too. I'm looking forward to us both grabbing our bikes and heading out for a spin!

Thats really awesome......this reminded me what a different time it is now with email/texting....If I need to ask one of Robert's teachers something, I just text them a chat message, etc. After the earthquake, Robert explained plate tectonics to me as if I had never heard of it....so I emailed his science teacher...she was really happy to know he was actually paying attention in class 🙂
